Lexmark Leaders Now That You Don't Belong To China - Share The Truth!

Lexmark Leaders Now That You Don't Belong To China - Share The Truth!

I wish the ex-leaders of Lexmark well as they exit Lexmark. But I also want to address something that I believe needs addressing as I read some of the farewell message being posted by Lexmark exiting leaders.

Let me start by saying, it's essential to acknowledge 2016 as the worst year in Lexmark's history, when at that time Lexmark's CEO and Board board decided to sell to an entity of the People's Republic of China (PRC), namely Apex. Which eventually became known as Ninestar.

Unfortunately, in 2023, Ninestar was recognized as violating the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA). This violation led the Department of Homeland Security to ban Ninestar, along with several of its subsidiaries, from entering the U.S. supply chain.

I believe that Lexmark's leadership failed to respond effectively to this issue, and I don't think that continuing in sweeping it under the rug does anything to help the industry or other industries that have entities, such as Lexmark, which were once great American companies but now find themselves with Chinese ownership. Controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

The Lexmark story is valuable, and I hope the past fears of its leaders in speaking the realities connected to leading a subsidiary owned and controlled by the Chinese Communist Government end now, that all of Lexmark's leaders are no longer subjected to the (CCP) Chinese Communist Party policies of submission and silence.

The real celebration in this story is that Xerox Leadership had the boldness to bring Lexmark back home to America. Now is the time for all past Lexmark leaders to accept and share the realities of that Ninestar relationship.

More reality-denying won't help other American companies understand the ramifications of selling to Chinese Companies. As all of us know The Chinese Communist Party controls all Chinese companies and all their subsidiaries, regardless of where in the world they are located.

Again, I wish all those exiting Lexmark well and will hope the denying of reality ends.

BTW Have a Great July 4th - And A Great Weekend to all those friends around the world!

To start with, I request that the new CEO make it absolutely clear to everyone what position and influence the old CEO still has. Also, clarify what equity ownership remains with him? Or any other senior leaders, either terminated or employed at Visual Edge IT, including yourself.
