My vision for TEASRA, The Innovation Channel, was born of this thought. "A company becomes obsolete when they focus on delivering the past to the future instead of delivering the future to the present." It’s only through collaboration and a willingness to look where others do not, which eventually separates the innovators from those stuck in the status quo.

The Business Technology Association and all the separate entities seem more like investment clubs rather then associations dedicated to helping the association's members. I am hopefully that this episode and my previous episode regarding BTA National and the BTA scholarship entities will cause some obviously needed debate between these organization's boards and these organization's members.
GreatAmerica Becoming A Bank Actually Makes Them More Attractive To Wells Fargo. I am thinking the second generation would rather cash out then build a bank. Especially if my researched value of GreatAmerica is accurate. There could be a lot of golf games and a nice new jet in the numbers!
The 2nd qtr 10 Q showing a zero revolving. It seems as Ares Capital has turned off the money spigot. It also appears as Ares Capital converted a unrealised loss from 1st qtr to a new PIK loan on the 2nd qtr 10Q. I share my thoughts on that. As well I share my thinking regarding a possible strategy in the dismantling of Visual Edge IT.
As I share thoughts from the porch this morning think about the reality of the private equity investments in the print industry. With the help from Artificial intelligence financial reporting will go to a another level. As investors consider the investments in technology whether it's technology of the future, technology of the present or as in the case of our industry technologies of the past. The level of scrutiny is going to a whole new level. The print industry will not simply be allowed to share alternative realities anymore! The future of all technology resellers will face changes and being prepared based in reality will be mandatory. BTW there's actually over $500 billion more in coming soon Zombie assets, assets 7 years or older today. One would think if these organizations didn't sell in the last 7, 8 or 9 years they probably will indeed join the Zombie Club!
The Business Technology Association cannot distract from the issues I am raising. I will be happy to have a debate with both the BTA Director and the BTA lawyer anytime they wish to discuss the issues I have raised. The BTA Director's Post today showing photos of scholarship winners is completely unacceptable. He should be able to stand front and center on his own and argue why the association is sitting on so many assets and the other issues I raised regarding the 3 separate entities. Using the shield of innocent people to distract from conversations regarding my content is insane. These tactics make me want to look even harder so, I will.
Is Katun selling themselves on their relevance? Katun needs to discuss the realities of their very very very Low revenues! Tune in Monday I will rip apart their numbers!
A quick piggyback off of Friday's episode regarding the Business Technology Association (BTA) 990 Tax Filings. I also looked at the CDA's 990 and was surprised by the amount of annual scholarships awarded by the ,Copier Dealers Association (CDA). A Big! - Great Job To The CDA board and members!

In case anyone needs a reminder of something the old ceo said, let me paraphrase: the Football Hall of Fame is a great thing to sponsor if you can afford to do it! Yes, I screamed WTF when he said that.
Also, the panderers motivation: younger folks will more than likely reciprocate unwarranted praise to the insecure old-timer. I call this the logorrhea Loop.
Is Konica Minolta U.S. controlled by gangsters? Are dealers afraid they will be whacked if they speak out? Seriously, folks, the silence is deafening.
