Memories as a Distraction – MaaD
The best way to recognize those in fear of being disrupted they speak about the past more than a future to distract from what they can't or neglect to imagine.
It is safe to say that most people would rather be comfortable than disrupted. But, for the disruptors, there's nothing better than running up on the collaboration of memory seekers.
In business, no one should waste time managing memories. The path forward is forged through progress; progress should always be imagination-based, not memory-based.
Memories are like paper maps; they can only show previous routes and are void of new or changing landscapes. Today's navigator can-not be distracted by memories regardless of how hallucinating memories can be.
Remember, Memory-Based leadership seeks those who would rather hallucinate in comfortable memories than those seeking to remain relevant because those who seek relevance understand that what they remember no longer applies to what they imagine.
Don't get distracted by the hallucination of memories.
Status Quo is the killer of all that will be invented!
