TD SYNNEX is so poised to completely disrupt the reseller services channel! My warning to those MSP who focus on low end contracts and have zero abilities to sell intellect are about to become reality! End-users don't need an MSP business model from 2009. Those who refuse to imagine how they can be defeated will fall to the mercy of those who plan and execute their defeat.
As the industry prepares for PRINTING United I wanted to share some thoughts on why I believe both Konica Minolta and Ricoh should exit their industrial print businesses. It is all about the math! Konica Minolta has been a financial train wreck and Ricoh has struggled for years to get above a 4% operating profit. Both organizations are only producing around $300 million in industrial print revenues. They have both in the sector for years and just don't seem capable of being any real contender. Along with dismal financial capabilities it just seems logical they both should exit. I add Kodak to the list as I just don't see them breaking any records. From FY 23-24 the Kodak printing business revenues declined by 11% and had an operational EBITDA Of Negative $8 Million. Now six months into F Y25 Kodak's print revenues are down from F Y24 numbers by 7% and the operational EBITDA of the print business is negative $13 Million Of, course the financial sector questioning Kodak remaining as a going concern is troubling as well.
