Ed McLaughlin, TEASRA Consultant
Edward McLaughlin is an Executive Advisor with NEXERA a BEI Services Company . Ed has over 40 years of executive and management experience in the office imaging, automation and business services industries. He has broad experience in operations, turn around situations, product development, and supply chain simplification. He has led the strategic selection and execution of numerous successful mergers and acquisitions paying special attention to selecting complimentary and synergistic business cultures.
After four years of service in the US Air Force, Mr. McLaughlin began his career with Sperry Rand Corporation, Univac Division, where he was an accountant with the International Davison controllers department. He later held many sales, managerial and executive positions with companies such as 3M, Canon, Ricoh, and concluding his corporate experience as President of Sharp Information and Imaging Company of America.
He serves on numerous boards and has been Chair to the Audit committee of Sharp Electronics Corp. Mr. McLaughlin is a graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA and an alumni of IMD University Lusanne Switzerland. He has twice been Identified by industry associations as executive of the year and has been awarded two Lifetime Achievement awards.
Jim Cerkleski, TEASRA Consultant
Jim Cerkleski is Executive Chairman of the Board for Clover Imaging Group, the industry leader in providing high-quality, environmentally friendly imaging products. Cerkleski is responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership for the company as well as overseeing sales, business development and strategic alliance initiatives.
The prototypical entrepreneur, Cerkleski has been instrumental in the record growth of three multi-million dollar businesses - all of which began at or near zero revenue. Shortly after graduating from Northern Illinois University, Cerkleski founded Superior Office Products, which surpassed $15 million in sales within its first five years of operation. He subsequently sold Superior Office Products to US Office Products and became a divisional President. Soon after, Cerkleski launched Superior Wireless to focus on the growing wireless market. In 2000, he purchased 60% of Clover's stock. Since taking the helm, Cerkleski has led the company from a local imaging supplies remanufacturer to the global leader in aftermarket imaging supplies and recycling services.
In 2006, Cerkleski was awarded Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year for Manufacturing and Distribution for the Lake Michigan Area. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
